RESPONSIBLE AND SENSITIVE LEADERSHIP
Leading a System Compatible with Planet and Humanity in the Age of Innovation, Technology and Artificial Intelligence
The main theme of UEZ (Uludağ Economy Summit), which is the most effective and widely attended business and economy summit of Turkey and the region, was determined as “Responsible and Responsive Leadership: Leading a System Compatible with the Planet and Humanity in the Age of Technology and Artificial Intelligence”. Within the scope of this theme, how issues such as growth on the agenda of the business world, sustainability, technological transformation, investment in the education and future of new generations will be discussed in the future. It will be underlined that it is an indispensable necessity for today’s institutions and companies to lead in a responsible and sensitive way to ensure the transformation into a new economic system and approach that is compatible with the planet and humanity. Unfortunately, this great transformation cannot be achieved with the authoritarian management and leadership approach that prevails in many countries of the world today. Despite all this technology, humanity is still greatly damaged in natural disasters such as earthquakes and floods all over the world. Problems such as water, air pollution and climate crisis are now at the alarm point. It is only possible to realise the green and technological revolution that the planet and humanity need, and to manage twin transformation, with a responsible and sensitive leadership approach.
In 2024, within the scope of this main theme, how to get rid of the global economy’s climate crisis, regional conflicts, wars and economic blockation with a sensitive, responsible and innovative perspective and leadership will be discussed. Opinions, goals and practises on how to build a system more compatible with humanity and the planet in every field from the public to the private sector will be shared. How new technologies such as artificial intelligence can be used positively to create a difference and benefit in different areas in this transformational age will be discussed.
